Lesson 1 Introduction to Educational Research

 Chapter 1
The Beginning
Somewhat reminiscence of the past reminds me about mini researches conducted during my undergrads. I recalled it as good experiences. The difference is before I took psychology and it was 16 years back. I remember three particular researches. One is about personality and the instrument was California Personality Test. The sample was martial art practitioners whether the belief and styles of martial art practices influences positively or negatively a personality or behavior or attitude. The second one is about deviant behavior where my friends and I done research on  students who somehow are rather acted as 'shemale'at university. I think I shared a lot during the research but I was not the persons who liaised with the lecturer, and at the end my friend who liaised with the lecturer got A and I got B+. I realized, that I am that kind of person, but need to change for my own benefits. Another research was in Social Psychology and the same things happened, my friend got A and I got B+. We did something about minority at the university and find out in attitude they are no different from the others but the behavior is different. In order to become a good researcher,  need to have this interpersonal skills because this time as according to this first week brief, the likely proposal I will do is qualitative and something to do with case study in a school and with regards to either reading, speaking, listening and writing. Either one. Perhaps writing because one of my most inflential lecturer during DPLI said. I encourage you to take master and you can finish your master within not more than 1 and half year. I was buying that idea and here am I.
